This is a 'IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL' blue screen error that occurs when a device driver, memory, or antivirus program without access rights accesses the memory. Level 1. Update Windows to the latest version
1. Click the [Windows Start] button.
2. Click [Settings].
3. Click [Update & Security].
4. Click [Windows Update].
5. Click [Check for Updates] on the right menu.
6. If there is a list to be updated, update it.
7. When the update is complete, restart your PC. If you see a 'driver irql not less or equal' blue screen error, proceed to the next step.
Step 2. Check Device Manager Errors
1. Right-click on the [Windows Start] button.
2. Click [Device Manager].
3. Find the item with 'yellow exclamation mark' or 'unknown device' in front of the device name and right-click on it.
4. Click [Update Driver] and proceed with the update. If the update does not proceed, click [Remove Device].
5. Restart your PC. If the 'irql not less or equal' blue screen error reappears, proceed to the next step.
Step 3. Delete all antivirus programs and then find out which one is causing the error
1. Press the 'R' key while holding down the [Windows key] on the keyboard.
2. Type 'appwiz.cpl' and press Enter.
3. Find the antivirus program in the list of programs on the [Uninstall or change a program] screen.
4. Right-click and click [Delete].
5. After removing all installed antivirus programs, restart the PC. If the 'irql not less or equal' blue screen error reappears, proceed to the next step.
Step 4. Diagnosing memory
1. Right-click on the [Windows Start] button.
2. Click [Settings].
3. Click [Update & Security].
4. Click [Recover].
5. Click [Advanced Startup Options].
6. Click [Restart Now].
7. Click [Troubleshooting] on the blue recovery screen.
8. Click [Advanced Options].
9. Click [Startup Settings].
10. Click the [Restart button].
11. When the selection screen appears on the reboot screen, click No. 4 [Safe Mode].
12. On the screen booted in safe mode, enter 'memory diagnosis' in the search word input box to the right of the indows Start button and click [Open].
13. Click [Restart now to fix the problem (recommended)].
14. When the memory recovery is complete, reboot the PC. If the 'irql not less or equal' blue screen error reappears, click here to continue with the next step.
